You can adjust the difficulty by increasing or decreasing the air in the ball. The less air there is in the ball, the greater the challenge for the dog.
Due to its elongated shape, the double ball is more stable than a round therapy ball because it only moves sideways. The dog can stretch its back and you can easily get close to the ball. It is important that you hold the ball firmly throughout the training session so that the dog does not fall and injure itself.
Practical information
When choosing the size of your double ball, you can measure the distance between the front and back paws when the dog is standing in a relaxed position on the floor. The important thing is not to choose a ball that is too small, because the dog is then forced to arch its back.
