Pairing Pods are a perfect aid when you train Nose Work or other scent discrimination with the help of pairing, i.e. putting treats next to the hide that has a target scent.
These Pairing Pods are adapted to fit with mini containers made from a natural material often called PLA.
The Pairing Pod (shelf) itself has a magnet at the bottom to be able to stand more firmly on magnetic surfaces. Likewise, the mini container has a magnet on the back to be placed in an indoor or outdoor environment. Can also be used on some magnetic vehicles.
By preparing the mini-container with a target scent, you can use Pairing Pods to set the hideout in, for example, an indoor search and put sweets on the small "shelf".
In this way, the dog gets a reward immediately when it comes to the target scent, it gets a quick reward so we don't have to worry about the timing as the driver, we "buy ourselves time" to move forward in peace and quiet and reward the dog further from our hand .
Tip from the coach is to vary which candy you put at the hiding place.
