Bed with thick wool on the top and a strong water-repellant fabric on the bottom. The mattress is stuffed with a 2 cm thick foam pad. The bed has a zipper so you can easily remove the padding before washing.
Wool is a natural material and excellent for the dog's comfort, it warms even when damp, is not static, easy to keep clean and does not attract dirt or odors. If it is soaked (to a maximum of 30% water), it retains the ability to heat - your pet will not get cold.
The bed fits nicely in a car cage, for training when the dog has to lie down and wait or to take a break during a hike.

Wash at 30 degrees or in the wool program of the machine. A wool detergent helps preserve all the wonderful properties of wool, do not use fabric softener. Try airing and brushing away dirt before you think about washing it, the bed stays fresh longer than you think.

Hang the bed out overnight and let it air out properly, preferably in damp weather. When a musty smell doesn't go away after a bed has been left outside overnight, or the bed has gotten really dirty and it doesn't go away after you shake it out, it's time to wash.
